THE EARTH, A HOME FOR ALL

THE EARTH, A HOME FOR ALL I have a strong belief that, Animals regardless of their Class, or Rank in the Food Chain, have a right to convenient living. It is painful how people knowingly and knowingly inflict harm on them.

I visited my Grandmother years back in the village she had a Cat (Queen), very lovely creature always coming around everyone with her kittens and my Grandma always talking to her like she really understands her meows. This inspired me and made me get my first German Shepherd. Loving other animals then came natural for me.

I believe God perfected his creation with Animals, I mean beholding live under water is magnificent. Now thinking of people polluting the water system, burning the forest, felling the trees without replanting is sadly unbelievable. I mean is it not enough that we kill this animals for fun (hunting), for meals (steak, bacon etc), we kill them for fashion (leather, clothes, shoes etc), and we do not even know the effect of these. All these activities makes the animals endangered. When we capture a snake instead of killing let us take lovely photos and videos and release it back to the wild, when we catch a fish let us also do the same.

These distasteful acts not only kill our animals but also causes mental illness for them. They are social animals they react to everything around them, they communicate but we cannot understand their language. It is left to some set of people who will voluntarily stand for their lives, and preserve those rights.

I Goggled groups I could join for voluntary works on the animals and the environment at large and SDG came through. March 2019- March 2020 I joined SDG group for my COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES for my National Youth Service Corp year. I successfully completed three (3) project. Market sensitization (clearing the drainage system, cleaning the land and effect of oil spillage on the soil). My second project was also in the market, sensitising All and Sundry on Lassa Fever and Ebola. My last project was in a school, sensitising the students on personal hygiene and effect of hard drugs.

I wish to achieve my dreams of owning a Wild Life Park in Nigeria and make people realize what we have missed by preserving lives of our animals and fighting for the rights.
