I have a dream where everyone in this world is satisfied by their living standards. The spaces where people live, their comfort zone, they have an emotional connection with it.No matter where you live for a temporary period, whether it be a luxury hotel or a beach resort, the comfort that you find in your house is incomparable. But we eventually forget that the living spaces, have a direct impact on our lifestyle, on our habits, on our mental and physical health. So we can say that the place where we live can shape our lives.
I am KAIF ALI,19 years old architecture student from India. I have done various projects related to Sustainable living, related to the term “BIOPHILIA”. I have designed a hotel, cultural center, hospital under the concept of Biophilic architecture. Biophilic Design is working to create spaces that benefit the people who are operating within the built environment. It is, at its core, an architectural framework inspired by the natural world that weaves the organic patterns and forms of nature into the built environment, strengthening the human-nature connection that we all yearn for.
Biophilic design can reduce stress, enhance creativity and clarity of thought, improve our well-being and expedite healing. as the world, the population continues to urbanize, these qualities are even more important.
Thus, the study shows how the involvement of nature in our living/working spaces have a direct impact on our health, our lifestyle. The balance amongst the built and unbuilt environment can maintain the balance in our lives. Biophilia is in our past, is shaping our present, and leads to a sustainable future.
I have also done a shelter design proposal for covid-19 pandemic and have won various recognitions from my government and from national and international platforms. Being a concerned citizen and a responsible youth its my duty to serve the government and world organizations through my skills. IN THIS PANDEMIC, THERE IS A NEED OF ADVANCEMENT IN EVERY FIELD THAT SUPPORTS THE MEDICAL SYSTEM LIKEWISE THROUGH ARCHITECTURAL INNOVATIONS WE COULD SURELY MINIMIZE THE IMPACT OF COVID-19.”
Thus, through architectural innovations, we can combat any pandemic, we can shape the life of a person, can shape their perspective. Architecture is an art that is not restricted to only up to the sheets, it has the ability to impact a person’s life that architects haven’t met before in this life.
