Heal others to help heal yourself!

I dream of a world where everyone just embraced themselves and excel in whatever they are pursuing. But you see, this is hard to achieve but not impossible. And it is hard because of all the technology around us. People are being more sad than before, comparing themselves to these top models and rich men which is making them depressed. When I was young, I really wanted to go and change the world, but I didn’t know where to start. So I started with myself.

I have a keen interest in English literature and Psychology. I am pursuing B. A (Hons.) English as a major and Psychology as a minor from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. Mental health is an important issue and it needs to be discussed. Because if not, this can be very detrimental to our health which in turn will affect the physical state and stop the productivity rate of the people which will result in no progress of the world and my dream, would never be able to see the light. And that’s where Psychology plays a part.

I want to be a Professor in English and a Psychologist to provide the best education to the people while simultaneously work on their mental health as well. I will make them learn new techniques and adapt to new styles to read and understand people better around them so that they can have an effective communication with others and help them to heal from their trauma and past so that they can achieve their dreams!

I am an actor, author, theater artist and a writer and have published a poetry book, “COLORS” which is available on Amazon India, Flipkart India and was available at Oxford Bookstore, New Delhi which was there for a considerable amount of time. It’s a poetry book consisting of 45 poems. Just how 7 colors make white, the different phases which we go through makes one thing and that’s life. I tried relating every emotion with a poem and just how every color is unique in it’s own way, every phase of life is unique in it’s own way. I’m not into depressing writings for I believe in optimistic work.

Words have a power to change and with the right amount of hardwork and dedication, I am on my way to change the world and one day I will, because I can.
