Education has always been the mainstay of my life, because my grandma, Amada, and my aunts, Nancy and Sonia taught me that education transforms people’s lives. They have always been my inspiration and motivation.
One day, when I was in high school, a speaker shared his experiences as an international student and how studies improved his life. It was at that moment I knew that dreams have no limits.
Thanks to my family, I am the first member of my family to graduate from university.
Being a student of the Ecuadorian public education system, I was able to perceive that so many young people did not have access to education. I know that many people don’t know about the opportunities abroad, and that is the reason why I am part of the Educational Youth Opportunities for Life Options (EduYOLO) team. It is a digital organization that promotes quality education through international academic opportunities for Latin American youth. Moreover, EduYOLO provides information to young people who wish to seek scholarships abroad to help open their minds and make them aware that education has no barriers.
I aim to help many young people to visualize themselves beyond their social environment. I also want to be able to provide youth with quality information in the world of international opportunities, specifically international scholarships, with a focus on the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which is to provide quality education to the world.
